Depart from Glasgow this winter on an exciting daybreak to Lapland. Leaving Glasgow International Airport early in the morning, the three-hour flight takes you high into the Arctic Circle. Deep in True Lapland, the snow-clad forests and frozen lakes will seem a world away from Scotland. Drive snowmobiles, mush husky sleds, and ride reindeer sleighs through the picture-perfect landscape. Of course, no visit to Lapland would be complete without a visit to see Father Christmas – you’ve travelled a long way to see him! Returning to Glasgow later that evening, you’ll be filled with memories to last a lifetime! (See our Winter Wonderland tour for more details). If you'd like to stay a little longer in Lapland this December, our three-night Sleigh Bells Ringing tour departing from Glasgow is ideal. Staying in cosy, traditional Lappish hotels in True Lapland, your accommodation for the holiday will be a good base from which to enjoy the exhilarating activities that Lapland has to offer. We only choose resorts in 'True Lapland' far away from the mass-market commercial resorts of Rovaniemi or Saariselka - so with Transun, you know you'll be visiting the authentic Lapland. (See our Sleigh Bells Ringing tour for more details).
