Have you got a passion for a career in travel?

Transun's offices - housed in a large converted period building which was once the beer warehouse for the adjoining public house! - are within a stone's throw of some of Oxford's most historic sights. Magdalen Bridge, the scene of May Day morning celebrations every year, is just yards away, and beyond it the historic Magdalen College and the oasis that is the Oxford Botanic Gardens. Oxford High Street - celebrated as one of the most beautiful in England and lined with glorious colleges and churches as well as a host of attractive bars and eateries - leads you to Oxford's busy city centre with diverse shopping opportunities, including the city's renowned Covered Market.

In the other direction, a stroll will take you into Oxford's lively Cowley Road area, a thriving community of shops, bars and restaurants with a wide ethnic diversity. Close to the office there are bus stops that will not only take you to local destinations but are also serviced by coaches bound for London, Heathrow and Gatwick. The railway station is a 20-minute walk away.

Transun values its staff and encourages a strong team spirit within the office. To this end, members of staff regularly go out after work for social evenings around Oxford. In addition, we occasionally make use of our office sun terrace for an impromptu barbecue, while some members of staff also take part in local football, squash, rounders, Zumba and other activities.

Transun offers plenty of opportunities for progression for ambitious employees. The company's sphere of activities is diverse and opportunities for advancement are plentiful. The company regularly invests in IT upgrades, employee training, advancement courses and overseas travel... travel is a key part of working at Transun. As a tour operator, we are constantly pioneering new products. Our fact-finding and liaison missions, both to existing destinations and potential new ones, are a regular and vital activity.

Historic and unique, Oxford makes a delightful city in which to work. And at Transun, you will find a challenge that offers travel, team work and fulfiment in return for hard work, enthusiasm and immersion in our unique field of business.

We also welcome speculative job applications. So, if you have a passion for a career in travel, perhaps knowledge of one of our destinations, and like the idea of working in a small but friendly environment, then you may be just the person we're looking for! Please send us your CV, and a covering letter to recruitment@transun.co.uk
