Overview

The cabins at Jeris are set in the Pallas-Yllas National Park – Finland’s third largest National Park and a true winter wonderland. Thick forest and glistening lakes blanketed in deep snow surround the cabins, offering picture-perfect views like no other.

The traditional-built timber cabins vary in size depending on occupancy, but each has the comforts which will make it a typically Finnish stay: a private sauna, a log burner, and a drying cupboard for snow suits.

Your transfer from the airport will take you to the main hotel building, from where help will be on hand to take you and your luggage to your cabin. A welcome pack of tea and coffee and firewood will be in your cabin, and further supplies of firewood can be purchased locally at the hotel if you wish. Meals are taken at the hotel’s restaurant, except one night when the dinner will be in the lakeside restaurant.

Cabins are roughly a 15-minute walk from the main hotel building and so may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. A shuttle bus to the main hotel building operates, though times are yet to be confirmed.

Why We Love It!

The location of the Jeris cabins is Lapland’s finest – second to none! Deep forest surrounds Lake Jeris and snow stretches to the horizon. Peace and tranquility abound! This is True Lapland, just as you imagined it: uncommercial, authentic, and picture perfect.

Good to Know!

The Jeris cabins are set in a forested area, a short 15-minute walk from the main hotel building. An evening hotel shuttle bus does operate (times confirmed locally), though this may still be an unsuitable accommodation option for those with mobility issues.
