The Arctic Circle is the circle of latitude centred upon the north pole that marks the southern extremity of the polar day and polar night. So within the Arctic Circle region, during winter the sun does not rise above the horizon for one day or more, whilst at least once in summer it does not set – hence the midnight sun.

Our Arctic holidays will take you to Enontekio, a territory within Finnish Lapland, 300km inside the Arctic Circle. This is a land of spectacular scenery, of northern lights and the midnight sun.
