Festive Lapland description and itinerary
Having spent Christmas itself at home, why not extend the festivities with a short break amid the snowscapes of Lapland. The Festive Lapland short break gives you the chance to fly out of the UK on 27th December for a three-night break in the magical home of Father Christmas and his elves.
Although Santa has hung up his sack for another year, he's looking forward to meeting you now that he's got some more time on his hands! As well as a private family meeting with Santa in his cabin, Lapland has a lot to offer festive holidaymakers. This special Christmas week short break includes all that the earlier short breaks contain (private family meeting with Santa, snow games and husky, snowmobile and reindeer safaris) and there's the added magic of being in Lapland during the festive period.
27 December
Spend Christmas week in Lapland. Leave the UK early in the morning on the 27th. Fly to Enontekio airport with a hot meal on board. Transfer to your accommodation and collect your thermal suits and boots. Welcome meeting. Dinner at hotel.
28 December
Breakfast. Experience two of your three exhilarating arctic safaris: 5km husky safari, 1.5hr snowmobile, 0.5hr reindeer. Lunch included during safaris. Dinner at hotel.
29 December
Breakfast. Today you'll visit Santa, who you'll find resting after his recent travels in a hideaway log cabin. And there's plenty of snow fun to be had, including: tobogganing, kids' snowmobiles, tandem-skiing, lasso throwing. Lunch included on activities. Festive Dinner in the evening.
30 December
Breakfast. Enjoy your final arctic safari. Lunch at hotel. Return of thermals. Transfer to airport for flight to UK (with dinner served on board).
