Mechanic / Resort Driver

Fancy doing something different? How about working 300kms north of the Arctic Circle? What about testing your skills on a variety of machinery in a challenging environment?

We are currently looking for a resort driver who has substantial mechanical experience. The role requires the ability to drive safely and calmly on snow and ice transporting passengers between locations. You will also be required to undertake longer journeys collecting stock and guests from a variety of locations.

You will be responsible for the maintenance and servicing of the companies’ vehicle and snowmobile fleet.

The ideal candidate will possess:

-          Minibus driving license

-          Experience driving with a trailer

-          Strong mechanical skills

-          Flexibility to adapt to working without full workshop facilities

-          Customer service experience

-          Clean driving license

You will need to be self-motivated, a team player and confident in your abilities. This role requires an open mind, the ability to organise and communicate effectively whilst been able to delegate accordingly, if necessary.

During the operational period the role will involve long working hours with little breaks or time off therefore endurance and the ability to work under pressure while presenting a pleasant demeanour at all times is crucial. You will be on call 24/7 and will be fully supported by your team.
