Seasonal roles (Lapland)

Transun is one of the UK’s leading independent operators providing trips to Lapland to visit the home of the real Father Christmas. Established in 1982 Transun began providing day breaks and short breaks set deep inside the Arctic Circle well over 15 years ago.

If you would like to be part of our dream making team then we offer a range of varied roles suiting different levels of experience from chefs to one of Santa’s right hand elves. Depending on the role our team normally head out from mid Nov and return in the middle of Jan.  Our clients arrive on breaks starting the 29^th November until the 11^th January with a possibility to extend until the end of March for our Arctic Spirit product.

Set in the Enontekio municipality the temperatures can reach as low as -30, full thermal overalls and boots are provided however experience of working in extreme temperatures is desirable but not essential. Primarily you will work as part of a team however flexibility and the ability to work by yourself under your own supervision and motivation are essential and key to the role. A ‘can do’ and 24/7 attitude are necessary as some days will be extremely long with limited or no breaks. Our clients’ enjoyment of their trip is paramount and it is up to our team to deliver their expectations and the magic of Lapland.
