Hotel Manager

This role requires a professional candidate with significant experience in the hotel and catering industry. An intensive but highly rewarding job managing the Davvi Arctic Lodge and Cabins, in Finnish Lapland.

The job requires a hands on approach to manage this small but dynamic hotel. You will be at the forefront of all guest related interaction; you will be expected to play the role of host and interact on a daily basis with clients. Responsibilities will extend to all operational, guest and administrative related aspects including producing and maintaining budgets, stock control and operational reports.

You will have to organise staff, ensure that housekeeping and food and beverage sectors are running efficiently, and that the hotel is properly maintained.

You will need to be self-motivated, a team player and confident in your abilities to lead. This role requires an open mind, the ability to organise and communicate effectively whilst been able to delegate accordingly. You will need to have a good grasp of planning/logistics and be able to make changes/decisions as and when necessary and most of time on the spot and be able to communicate these changes to the team and all suppliers efficiently

During the operational period the role will involve long working hours with little breaks or time off therefore endurance and the ability to work under pressure while presenting a pleasant demeanour at all times is crucial. You will be on call 24/7 and will be fully supported by your team.

Requirements
