Cambodia
After years of isolation and seclusion, Cambodia now warmly welcomes many visitors. The country’s mix of dense forests, beautiful beaches and rich religious heritage present a unique appeal.
Cambodia is home of the formidable Angkor Wat, standing as a proud testament to an ancient civilization. The riverside capital, Phnom Penh, retains disturbing reminders of the legacy of the Khmer Rouge. Sihanoukville, on the country’s south-west coast, is the most popular beach location.
Temperatures range from 10 to 38 °C and the country experiences tropical monsoons. There are two distinct seasons: the rainy season runs from April to October, and the dry season which extends from November through to March.
